DevOps & Cloud
Release on a Friday without holding your breath.
We build CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, monitoring and backups for Odoo, web apps and APIs. Every release passes tests, ships without downtime and can roll back automatically, and backups are test-restored on a schedule.
- GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
- Docker, Kubernetes when justified
- Prometheus and Grafana
- Tested restores
- Rollback on every deploy
- Backups on managed Odoo hosting
- Pipeline and infrastructure code in your repo
- Scope and price per phase
- Reply time on enquiries
DevOps services
Everything between a commit and production
We automate the path from a developer's laptop to your users, then keep watch over what runs there. The same team runs Odoo in production, so ERP workloads are never an afterthought.
CI/CD pipelines
GitHub Actions or GitLab CI pipelines that lint, test, build, scan and deploy on every merge, with approvals for production and a full history of who shipped what.
Containers and orchestration
Docker and Docker Compose for most workloads, and Kubernetes only when the number of services and the traffic justify what it costs to run.
Zero-downtime releases
Blue-green or rolling deploys behind Nginx with health checks, database migrations that run safely, and automatic rollback when a check fails.
Monitoring and alerting
Prometheus, Grafana and Loki for metrics and logs, uptime checks from outside your network, and alerts sent by email or LINE to the people who can act on them.
Backups with tested restores
Encrypted, off-site PostgreSQL and file backups with Borg or restic, retention you choose, and scheduled restore tests that prove each backup opens.
Infrastructure as code
Terraform and Ansible for servers, DNS and firewalls on AWS, DigitalOcean or your own hardware, so any environment can be rebuilt from the repository.
Backups and recovery
A backup only counts once it has been restored
Most teams find out their backups are broken on the day they need them. We schedule restore tests into a separate environment, check that Odoo or your app actually starts on the restored data and send you the result, so recovery time is something you have measured rather than guessed.
- Encrypted backups stored off-site, away from the production account
- Point-in-time recovery for PostgreSQL with WAL archiving
- Restore tests on a schedule, with a written report each time
- Immutable copies to limit the damage from ransomware
Back up
The database and filestore are captured on schedule and encrypted before they leave the server.
Store off-site
Copies are kept in a separate account and region, with retention rules.
Restore
A clean environment is rebuilt from the backup on a set schedule.
Verify
The app starts, key records are checked and the restore time is reported.
Where we start
Three common starting points
Manual deploys over SSH
Releases done by one person copying files to a server. We move them into a pipeline with tests, approvals and rollback, so anyone on the team can ship safely.
A self-hosted Odoo nobody owns
An Odoo server set up years ago, with no staging, unknown backups and an overdue upgrade. We document it, containerize it, add staging and monitoring, and prepare the upgrade path.
Cloud bills that keep growing
Oversized instances, idle environments and forgotten storage. We right-size, schedule non-production environments and set budgets with alerts, before any code has to change.
Industries
Operations where downtime costs real money
Some businesses can wait an hour for a fix. These cannot, so their pipelines, monitoring and restore plans get the closest attention.
- Retail & E-commerceCheckout and POS that must stay up through campaigns and flash sales.
- ManufacturingShop-floor terminals and work orders that stop the line when Odoo is down.
- Freight & LogisticsTracking portals and label printing that run around the clock.
- Hospitals & ClinicsAppointment and billing systems holding patient data that must be backed up.
- HotelsBooking engines and outlet POS that cannot wait for a maintenance window.
- Loan ManagementRepayment schedules and collections with strict audit and backup needs.
- EducationAdmission and term-billing peaks that need extra capacity in specific weeks.
- Professional ServicesClient portals and document stores that hold confidential files.
How we work
A written audit first, automation second
1. Audit
We review servers, deploy steps, backups, access and costs, and hand you a written list of risks ranked by impact.
2. Fix the scope
You choose which risks to fix first. Scope and price are fixed per phase before work begins.
3. Automate
Pipelines, containers and infrastructure code replace manual steps, first on staging, then in production.
4. Prove recovery
We run a full restore and a rollback drill with your team watching, and record how long each one took.
5. Hand over or run it
Runbooks and credentials live in your own accounts. We can stay on a monthly plan or step back.

What we commit to
Operations promises we can actually keep
You will not see an uptime percentage here, because uptime depends on your hosting and your code as much as on us. These are the commitments we control.

FAQ
Questions clients ask first
Do we need Kubernetes?
Probably not yet. Docker Compose on one or two well-run servers handles most Odoo and web workloads, costs far less to operate and is easier to debug. We recommend Kubernetes when you run many services, need autoscaling across nodes or already have a team that operates it.
Can you work with our existing servers and cloud?
Yes. We work on AWS, DigitalOcean, other VPS providers and on-premise hardware, and we start by auditing what you already run. We only recommend changing providers when the audit shows a clear cost or reliability reason.
How do zero-downtime deployments work?
The new release starts next to the old one, passes health checks and only then receives traffic through Nginx. Database migrations are written to work with both versions during the switch. If a check fails, traffic stays on the previous release, or returns to it automatically.
How often should backups be tested?
For most businesses, at least monthly, and after any major change to the database or storage. A restore test rebuilds the system from backup in a separate environment and confirms the app starts with correct data. You get a short report each time, so you know your real recovery time.
Can you host and run our Odoo?
Yes. We deploy Odoo with Docker, Nginx, TLS, a separate staging environment, workers sized for your users, monitoring and daily backups with tested restores. Hosting can sit in Singapore, the US or Mumbai, or on Odoo.sh when that fits better, and we will tell you when it does.
What does a DevOps engagement cost?
The audit is a fixed fee, and each improvement phase after it has its own fixed scope and price. Ongoing monitoring and support run on a monthly plan scaled to the number of environments. Cloud and hosting bills stay in your own name, with no markup from us.
