Warehouse scanning
Scan, confirm, and Odoo is already updated
On a rugged Zebra or Honeywell device the hardware trigger does the work: the app reads the scan through the manufacturer's scanning service, checks it against the Odoo transfer and tells the picker what to do next. Scans queue on the device when Wi-Fi drops at the back of the warehouse and sync when it returns.

Reps visit shops outside Bangkok where signal is patchy. They take orders against each customer's own pricelist and credit limit, and orders sync to Odoo as soon as the phone reconnects.

Questions clients ask first
Should our Android app be native Kotlin, React Native or Flutter?
Native Kotlin with Jetpack Compose fits apps that lean on device hardware, such as rugged barcode scanners, or that will only ever run on Android. React Native or Flutter make sense when you also need an iPhone app and want one codebase for both. We recommend one after seeing your devices, users and roadmap.
Can the app work offline and sync with Odoo later?
Yes. The app keeps data in a local database on the device and queues every order, scan or delivery update until the connection returns. Sync then runs in order, and conflicts, such as stock already picked by someone else, are shown to the user rather than overwritten.
Does it work with Zebra and Honeywell barcode scanners?
Yes. On rugged Android devices we read scans from the built-in scanner through the manufacturer's scanning service, so the hardware trigger works without the camera. The same app can fall back to the phone camera for staff on ordinary phones.
Will you publish the app on Google Play?
Yes, under your own Google Play developer account so you own the listing. Google asks for a D-U-N-S number when you register an organization account, so we start that early. Internal apps for staff can skip the public store and go out through Managed Google Play or your device management tool.
Which Odoo versions and editions can the app connect to?
We connect to Odoo 16 through 19, Community or Enterprise, on Odoo.sh or your own server. The app uses Odoo's external API with a dedicated user and access rights, so it sees only the records that role is allowed to see.
How much does an Android app cost?
It depends on the number of screens, offline needs, device hardware and how deeply the app writes to Odoo. We scope a first release around one job done well, such as barcode picking, and quote a fixed price per phase. You own the source code and the store listing from day one.
