Questions clients ask first

Which data sources can you connect?

Odoo and other ERPs, SQL databases, Excel and Google Sheets, marketplace seller centers, payment gateways and anything with a REST API. Systems without an API can feed the warehouse through scheduled file exports, and we are clear about how fresh that data can be.

Which BI tool do you recommend?

The cheapest one that answers your questions. Reporting on Odoo data alone often needs nothing beyond Odoo and our TechAfterMe Dashboard app. Metabase and Superset are strong self-hosted options with no per-user fees, and Power BI or Looker Studio make sense when your team already lives in Microsoft or Google. We write down the trade-off and you decide.

Do dashboards update automatically?

Yes. Pipelines run on a schedule you choose: hourly or daily covers most decisions, and near real time is possible where it genuinely matters, such as a POS sales wall. Faster refresh costs more to run, so we say plainly which numbers deserve it.

We are a small business. Is BI worth it for us?

Often yes, because the first win is usually time: a few dashboards can replace hours of copy-paste reporting every week. We start with one phase around your most argued-about number, and if Odoo's own reporting already covers you, we will say so and stop there.

Where does our data live?

In your own accounts: the warehouse runs on your server or your cloud subscription, and our TechAfterMe Dashboard app works entirely inside your Odoo database. Access is role-based, and we hold no copy of your data after handover.

How much do business intelligence services cost?

The data audit is a fixed fee, and each build phase after it has a fixed scope and price: typically the warehouse and first dashboards in phase one, then more sources and self-service later. Open-source tools carry no license cost, and any BI licenses you do choose are billed to your own account.
