What we set up
From the recipe card to the delivery doorstep
Standard Odoo apps cover the sale, the kitchen and the books. We configure them around your menus first, and build the meal-specific pieces, like customer meal selection, as small modules with a written scope.
Featured module
Meal plans as subscriptions
The Odoo Subscriptions app turns a weekly or monthly meal plan into a recurring order that invoices itself, with payment links customers settle from their phone. Renewal reminders go out before the plan lapses, so retention is a process, not a hope.
- Weekly and monthly plans with automatic renewal invoices
- Payment links by PromptPay or card on every invoice
- Pauses and plan changes tracked on the subscription
- Renewal reminders before the plan lapses
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Recipes as BOMs
Every dish is a bill of materials with ingredient quantities, so the cost of a green curry updates when chicken prices do, and margin per meal is real.
Daily production plan
Confirmed orders for the day roll into manufacturing orders per dish, so the kitchen cooks to a list and prep quantities match the plan count.
Lots, expiry and FEFO
Ingredients carry lot numbers and expiry dates, picking follows first-expiry-first-out, and a removal report shows what is close to the bin before it gets there.
Allergens and labels
Allergen tags on products flow to meal labels printed from Odoo, and the label layout carries your brand, the meal name and the packing date.
Delivery runs by route
Orders group into batch pickings by zone or rider, each with a run sheet, so the 6 a.m. dispatch is a printout, not a group-chat scramble.
Online plan sales
Odoo eCommerce sells plans and one-off boxes from your own website, with the order landing in the same system as the kitchen and the books.
Clients and consultations
Nutritionist consults run on the Appointments app with a record per client, so plan changes and preferences live in one place your whole team can read.
Food cost and margin
Cost per meal from the BOM, margin per plan from Accounting and waste from scrap records, all read from the ledger your accountant closes.
How it fits together
One product master feeding the kitchen and the books
Meal businesses juggle three counts: what was sold, what was cooked and what was bought. When they live in different files, food cost is a quarterly surprise. In Odoo one product master ties the subscription, the recipe and the purchase together, so the three counts are one.
Walk the kitchen day first
We watch a morning prep, a pack-out and a delivery dispatch before configuring anything.
Clean the recipe data once
Dishes, portions, ingredient units and supplier pack sizes are mapped once, so costs stop drifting.
Go live one menu cycle at a time
The first weekly cycle runs on live data with the old checklist beside it. Then the checklist retires.
Stay through the first close
We stay through the first month-end close, when ingredient stock, subscription revenue and delivery costs meet the books.
Before you commit
Where nutrition businesses need extra care in Odoo
Odoo fits meal and nutrition operations well, but a few parts take more work than a demo suggests. These are the points we raise on the first call.
01
Subscriptions is an Enterprise app
Recurring plan billing uses the Odoo Subscriptions app, which needs Enterprise licenses. On Community we configure recurring invoicing differently or build a small module, and we tell you the trade-off before you choose.
02
Meal selection portals are custom
Letting customers pick Tuesday's dishes from next week's menu is not standard eCommerce. It is a well-defined custom module we scope, price and build against a written spec.
03
Nutrition data is your content
Odoo stores the calories and macros we add as fields, but the numbers come from your nutritionist or data source. We build the structure; the science stays yours.
04
Expiry tracking needs receiving discipline
FEFO only works if lots and dates are captured at the door. We set up the receiving flow and train the team, and the discipline has to hold every morning.
05
Route optimization is not built in
Odoo batches deliveries by zone but does not sequence stops. For optimized routes we integrate a routing service, or keep zones simple and stable.
06
Thai FDA labeling stays with you
Food labeling rules from the Thai FDA and any nutrition claims are your regulatory ground. We print the label you approve; we do not approve the label.
How we help
Each of these is raised in scoping, priced into its phase and written into the scope. If Odoo is the wrong fit for your kitchen, we say so on the first call.
Reliability & security
Engineered for reliability & security
Role-based access
Odoo security groups and record rules so each person sees only what their job needs.
Tested backups
Daily backups with restores rehearsed on a schedule. An untested backup is not a backup.
Full audit trail
Chatter history, approvals and document logs show who changed what, and when.
Hardened hosting
TLS everywhere, patched servers, firewalls and monitoring whether you run Odoo.sh or your own server.
PDPA-aware data handling
Personal data kept where it belongs, with retention and access set up around Thailand's PDPA.
Upgrade-safe custom code
Custom work lives in separate, tested modules so the next Odoo version is an upgrade, not a rebuild.
Rollout
A smooth rollout, fully supported
Walk the process
Workshops with the people who do the work, before any configuration.
Configure the baseline
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Pilot with one team
One site, one team, one month, on live data, with a rollback point.
Scale and hand over
Roll out to the rest, train by role, and stay through the first month-end close.
Dedicated consultant
The same person from the first call to go-live.
Documentation you keep
Process guides and handover notes in your own repository.
Training in EN or TH
Role-based sessions for new staff, whenever you need them.
Integrations
Connected to payments, delivery apps and your store
Payment gateways, delivery platforms and your webstore connect to Odoo through APIs, with retries and a readable log. Each integration is scoped and priced per endpoint.
- PromptPay
- 2C2P
- LINE Official Account
- LINE MAN
- GrabFood
- Shopify
- Flash Express
- Label printers
Payments reconciled to plans
PromptPay and card payments match to subscription invoices automatically, so renewals are confirmed by the bank, not by memory.
Delivery apps as order sources
Orders from delivery platforms are recorded against the same products and stock as your own channels, so the kitchen sees one queue.
Shopify two-way sync
Our own Shopify Odoo Connector on the Odoo Apps Store syncs products, stock, orders, customers and refunds both ways, with a one-time price and full source code.
Priced per endpoint
Each connection is quoted per endpoint after the data contract is agreed, so adding a channel later is a known cost.
Engagement options
Pick the starting point that fits your kitchen
Every option has a fixed scope and price per phase, agreed in writing before work starts. If you choose Odoo Enterprise, licenses are billed by Odoo directly and never marked up by us.

FAQ
Questions clients ask first
Can Odoo run weekly meal plan subscriptions?
Yes. The Subscriptions app handles recurring orders, automatic renewal invoices, payment links and reminders. It is an Enterprise app; on Community we configure recurring invoicing another way or build a small module, and we tell you honestly which route fits your size and budget.
Can customers choose their own meals online?
Yes, through a meal selection portal we build as a custom module on top of the Odoo website. Standard eCommerce sells the plan; the portal lets each subscriber pick dishes per day within their plan's rules. Because it is custom work, it is specified, priced and tested against a written scope.
How does Odoo track ingredient expiry?
Ingredients are lot-tracked with expiration dates, picking follows first-expiry-first-out, and removal-date reports flag stock before it turns. The honest condition: dates must be captured at receiving, so we design that step to take seconds and train the person who does it.
Will we know the real cost of each meal?
Yes, if the recipes are honest. Each dish's BOM values its ingredients at current purchase costs, so cost per meal moves with the market. Waste is recorded as scrap, and margins per plan come from Accounting. The accuracy depends on recipe upkeep, which is why recipe ownership is assigned during training.
How long does an implementation take?
A focused core covering products, recipes, subscriptions and accounting typically runs six to twelve weeks, with the first menu cycle live partway through. A meal selection portal and delivery platform links add their own phases. You get a phased timeline after scoping, not before.
