What we set up
From the field gate to the buyer's invoice
Standard Odoo carries lots, quality checks, processing and costing. We configure them around your crops, grades and buyers, and keep the field-level agronomy in the tools that do it well.
Featured module
Lots from intake to invoice
Every intake creates a lot tied to its plot or grower. The lot survives grading, processing and packing, and lands on the delivery order and invoice, so one query answers where a shipment came from and where a field's harvest went.
- A lot per intake, tagged with plot or grower
- Grading and repacking keep the lot chain intact
- FEFO picking by harvest or expiry date
- A traceability report per lot, on demand
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Weighbridge and scale intake
Gross and tare weights recorded at the gate, deductions for moisture or impurities applied by rule, and the purchase priced by grade and net weight.
Grower accounts and payments
Each grower has a record with intakes, prices and payments, so settlement day is a report, not an argument at the gate.
Processing and packing with MRP
Grading, cutting and packing run as manufacturing orders with BOMs per pack format, recording yield and waste per batch.
Quality checks at every gate
Quality checkpoints at intake, in process and before dispatch, with photos and measurements stored on the lot for audits and buyer claims.
Crop-cycle costing
Seed, fertilizer, labor and harvest costs post to the cycle's analytic account, so cost per rai and per kilogram is calculated, not guessed.
Cold rooms and warehouses
Stock by location and lot with expiry dates, FEFO picking, and cycle counts that keep the system honest against the cold room.
Dispatch and buyer orders
Sales orders by grade and pack format, delivery rounds per truck, and export shipment references kept on the order for the paperwork that follows.
Margin by crop and buyer
Margin by crop, cycle, grade and buyer from one ledger, so the next season's planting decision starts from numbers.
One chain
The scale, the packhouse and the books, one record
Traceability fails at the handoffs: the weighbridge book, the grading sheet and the invoice file each hold part of the story. We put intake, processing and dispatch in one system where the lot number is the thread, so the story holds together when a buyer or an auditor pulls it.
Walk the packhouse in season
We watch intake, grading and dispatch on a busy day before configuring anything, because harvest-peak reality beats any flowchart.
Lot and grade codes agreed first
Your lot numbering and grade names are agreed in writing before migration, because they shape every label and report after.
Pilot one crop cycle
One crop runs through the system for a full cycle, intake to settlement, before the other crops follow.
Stay through the first close
We stay through the first month-end close, when stock valuation, grower payables and cycle costs all have to reconcile.
Before you commit
The honest limits of Odoo on the farm
Odoo is strong from the gate onward. Before the gate, in the field, it is not an agronomy tool, and a few other points deserve straight answers.
01
Odoo is not an agronomy platform
Weather, soil data and field scouting live in specialist tools. We model plots and cycles for costing and traceability, and a field-diary module is a light extension when you want it.
02
Weighbridge links are custom
Scale indicators speak different protocols, and a direct link is priced per endpoint. Starting with fast manual entry plus a daily check is often the right first step.
03
Harvest peaks punish slow screens
When forty trucks queue at the gate, every extra click costs real money. We strip the intake screen to the minimum and test it at real speed before season.
04
Grower advances need a process
Advances against a future crop, and their deduction at settlement, are common and not standard Odoo. We handle them with a small module or a defined accounting routine.
05
Costing lives on discipline
Cost per cycle is only as good as the labor and input records behind it. We make recording easy, and we are honest that the habit has to come from your team.
06
Farms are not always online
Odoo is a connected system and remote farms lose signal. We plan which records are entered where and when, so a bad-signal day does not break the lot chain.
How we help
We raise these in the scoping call, price them into the phase they belong to, and put them in writing. If Odoo is the wrong fit for your operation, we say so on the first call.
Reliability & security
Engineered for reliability & security
Role-based access
Odoo security groups and record rules so each person sees only what their job needs.
Tested backups
Daily backups with restores rehearsed on a schedule. An untested backup is not a backup.
Full audit trail
Chatter history, approvals and document logs show who changed what, and when.
Hardened hosting
TLS everywhere, patched servers, firewalls and monitoring whether you run Odoo.sh or your own server.
PDPA-aware data handling
Personal data kept where it belongs, with retention and access set up around Thailand's PDPA.
Upgrade-safe custom code
Custom work lives in separate, tested modules so the next Odoo version is an upgrade, not a rebuild.
Rollout
A smooth rollout, fully supported
Walk the process
Workshops with the people who do the work, before any configuration.
Configure the baseline
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Pilot with one team
One site, one team, one month, on live data, with a rollback point.
Scale and hand over
Roll out to the rest, train by role, and stay through the first month-end close.
Dedicated consultant
The same person from the first call to go-live.
Documentation you keep
Process guides and handover notes in your own repository.
Training in EN or TH
Role-based sessions for new staff, whenever you need them.
Integrations
Connected from the scale to the buyer's system
Scales, label printers, banks and buyers all touch the lot chain. We connect what earns its keep, with retries and a readable log, and leave the rest as designed manual steps. Each integration is priced per endpoint.
- Weighbridge indicators
- Barcode label printers
- GS1 barcodes
- Odoo IoT Box
- Excel grower ledgers
- Bank statement files
- PromptPay
- e-Tax Invoice providers
Data contract first
We agree which system owns each field, such as weights, grades or prices, before any sync is built.
Labels print from the lot
Carton and pallet labels print from the lot record with the codes your buyers require, so the label always matches the system.
Grower payouts reconciled
Settlement payments match to intakes and advances, so the grower's statement and your books tell the same story.
Priced per endpoint
Each integration is quoted per endpoint once the data contract is agreed, so adding a scale or a buyer feed later is a known cost.
Engagement options
Pick the starting point that fits your season
Every option has a fixed scope and price per phase, agreed in writing before work starts. If you choose Odoo Enterprise, licenses are billed by Odoo directly and never marked up by us.

FAQ
Questions clients ask first
Can Odoo trace a shipment back to the farm or plot?
Yes. Each intake creates a lot tagged with its plot or grower, and grading and packing keep the lot chain intact through to the delivery order. A buyer complaint or an audit becomes a lot query that takes minutes, and it works in the other direction too, from field to every buyer who received that harvest.
Can it calculate the cost of each crop cycle?
Yes, through an analytic account per plot and cycle that collects seed, fertilizer, labor, harvest and transport costs, giving cost per rai and per kilogram. The honest condition is that inputs and labor must be recorded consistently, and we design the recording steps to be light enough to survive a busy season.
Can the weighbridge connect directly to Odoo?
Often, yes: many scale indicators can feed weights into the intake screen, and we price that link per endpoint after checking your hardware's protocol. Where the model is obscure or the volume is low, a fast manual-entry screen with a daily cross-check is the more honest recommendation.
How are payments to growers handled?
Every intake creates a payable to the grower priced by grade and net weight, advances are deducted at settlement, and each grower gets a statement that matches your books. Payment runs go out by bank transfer with the statement attached.
How long does an agriculture Odoo implementation take?
A focused core covering intake, lots, dispatch and accounting typically runs six to twelve weeks, and we time go-live against your season rather than against a calendar. The first full crop cycle in the system is the real test. You get a phased timeline after scoping, not before.
