Solar & renewable energy ERP
From site survey to service, one system per install
We configure Odoo CRM, Field Service, Project, Inventory and Accounting for solar installers, EPC contractors and equipment distributors: surveys on a phone, installs as costed projects, panels and inverters tracked by serial, and O&M contracts that bill themselves.
- Site surveys on mobile
- Serialized panels and inverters
- Progress billing per project
- O&M service contracts
- Industry playbooks on this site
- Offices: Bangkok, New York, Delhi NCR

What we set up
The install business, quoted, built and serviced
Standard Odoo apps cover the business side of solar well. We configure them around your system sizes, crews and service terms, and keep the engineering tools you already trust doing what they do best.
Featured module
Installs as costed projects
A signed quotation opens a project that carries the materials, the crew hours and the subcontract work for that roof. Milestone invoices go out as the job moves, and the margin per install is visible before the commissioning photo is taken.
- Quotation templates per system size
- Materials issued from stock to the project
- Deposit, delivery and commissioning invoices on schedule
- Cost and margin per install, per crew
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
CRM from inquiry to contract
Inquiries from the website, LINE and referrals move through one pipeline, with survey visits booked straight from the lead.
Site surveys on a phone
Survey checklists and roof photos captured in Field Service on site, attached to the lead, so the estimate is built from facts, not memory.
Panels and inverters by serial
Serial and lot tracking on the equipment that matters, so a warranty claim starts with a lookup instead of a warehouse search.
Purchasing and landed costs
Import orders with supplier lead times, and freight and duty landed onto the panels they belong to, so project costs are real costs.
Commissioning and handover
Quality checklists at commissioning, handover documents signed electronically, and the as-built file stored on the project.
O&M contracts and tickets
Maintenance contracts bill on schedule through Subscriptions, planned visits land on the service calendar, and faults come in as Helpdesk tickets tied to the site.
Progress billing and retention
Deposits, milestone invoices and retention where corporate or government customers require it, all posting to the right accounts.
Margin per project and crew
Analytic accounts split every install by project, crew and customer type, from the same ledger the accountant closes monthly.
One project record
Sales, warehouse, crews and finance on the same page
Solar businesses leak margin between the quote and the roof: materials leave the warehouse untracked, crew days stretch, and the final invoice forgets the extra conduit. We put the quote, the stock issues, the timesheets and the invoices on one project record, so the leak is visible while it can still be fixed.
Walk one install first
We follow a job from survey to commissioning before configuring anything, so the system matches how your crews actually work.
Standard kits per system size
Common system sizes become material kits and quotation templates, so quoting gets faster and stock issues get cleaner.
Pilot with one crew
One crew runs surveys, installs and service in Odoo on live jobs first. The others follow once that crew's month closes cleanly.
Stay through the first close
We stay through the first month-end close, when project WIP, stock issues and milestone billing all have to reconcile.
Before you commit
The honest limits of Odoo in the energy business
Odoo runs the commercial side of a solar company well. It does not replace your engineering and monitoring tools, and a few pieces need Enterprise or custom work. Here is the honest list.
01
Odoo is not an engineering tool
String design, yield simulation and generation monitoring stay in the specialist software you already use. Odoo holds the quotes, stock, projects and money around them.
02
Inverter APIs are per manufacturer
Pulling fault alerts from monitoring platforms into Helpdesk is custom work per manufacturer, priced per endpoint. Early on, a manual check is often the sensible answer.
03
Field Service and Planning are Enterprise
The mobile survey and crew scheduling apps need an Enterprise license. On Community we can build leaner flows, and we show you both options with costs.
04
Serial tracking is a habit
Serial numbers only help if they are scanned at receipt and at issue, every time. We set up the scanning flow and train it, but the habit belongs to your warehouse.
05
Long projects need a revenue policy
Deposits, work in progress and milestone revenue on multi-month projects need rules your accountant signs off before go-live, not after the first audit question.
06
Permits and PPA papers stay manual
Grid connection requests and permit filings are not automated by Odoo. We store the documents and track the dates, and the filing itself stays with your team.
How we help
We raise these in the scoping call, price them into the phase they belong to, and put them in writing. If Odoo is the wrong fit for your operation, we say so on the first call.
Reliability & security
Engineered for reliability & security
Role-based access
Odoo security groups and record rules so each person sees only what their job needs.
Tested backups
Daily backups with restores rehearsed on a schedule. An untested backup is not a backup.
Full audit trail
Chatter history, approvals and document logs show who changed what, and when.
Hardened hosting
TLS everywhere, patched servers, firewalls and monitoring whether you run Odoo.sh or your own server.
PDPA-aware data handling
Personal data kept where it belongs, with retention and access set up around Thailand's PDPA.
Upgrade-safe custom code
Custom work lives in separate, tested modules so the next Odoo version is an upgrade, not a rebuild.
Rollout
A smooth rollout, fully supported
Walk the process
Workshops with the people who do the work, before any configuration.
Configure the baseline
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Pilot with one team
One site, one team, one month, on live data, with a rollback point.
Scale and hand over
Roll out to the rest, train by role, and stay through the first month-end close.
Dedicated consultant
The same person from the first call to go-live.
Documentation you keep
Process guides and handover notes in your own repository.
Training in EN or TH
Role-based sessions for new staff, whenever you need them.
Integrations
Connected to the field and the back office
Crews work on phones, customers pay through banks and gateways, and monitoring platforms watch the roofs. We connect what earns its keep, with retries and a readable log, priced per endpoint.
- Inverter monitoring APIs
- LINE Official Account
- PromptPay
- 2C2P
- Google Maps
- Barcode scanners
- Bank statement files
- e-Tax Invoice providers
Data contract first
We agree which system owns each field, such as site status, serial numbers or alerts, before any sync is built.
Alerts become tickets
Where a monitoring integration is worth it, inverter faults open Helpdesk tickets on the right site automatically.
Payments reconciled
Deposits and milestone payments through PromptPay or a gateway match to the right project invoice automatically.
Priced per endpoint
Each integration is quoted per endpoint once the data contract is agreed, so adding a manufacturer later is a known cost.
Engagement options
Pick the starting point that fits your pipeline
Every option has a fixed scope and price per phase, agreed in writing before work starts. If you choose Odoo Enterprise, licenses are billed by Odoo directly and never marked up by us.
Solar fit review
For installers and EPC firms deciding whether Odoo fits. A fixed-fee review of your quote-to-service flow, ending in a written recommendation.
Priced after scoping
- Walk-through of a survey, an install and a service call
- Stock and serial-tracking review
- Community or Enterprise recommendation with reasons
- Costed, phased roadmap you keep
Phased solar rollout
The core build: CRM, surveys, install projects, serialized stock and Accounting, proven with one crew before the fleet follows.
Priced after scoping
- Fixed scope and price for each phase
- Material kits and quotation templates per system size
- Serialized stock setup and migration
- Role-based training for sales, crews and finance

FAQ
Questions clients ask first
Can Odoo schedule site surveys and install crews?
Yes. Field Service handles survey and install visits on a phone, and Planning lays crews out across the week. Both are Enterprise apps; on Community we build a leaner calendar-based flow, and we will show you the difference in practice before you choose.
Can we trace every panel's serial number for warranty?
Yes. Panels and inverters are received, stored and issued by serial or lot, so any installed unit traces back to its purchase, supplier and install site. The catch is discipline: serials must be scanned at receipt and issue, and we design that flow to be fast enough that crews actually do it.
How does progress billing work for install projects?
Each project carries its invoice plan, typically a deposit, a delivery milestone and a commissioning balance, and invoices go out as each milestone completes. Retention for corporate or government customers posts to its own account and is released on the agreed date.
Does Odoo show power generation and monitoring data?
Not natively, and we will not pretend otherwise. Generation data lives in each manufacturer's monitoring platform. What we can build is a bridge that turns fault alerts into Helpdesk tickets on the right site, priced per endpoint, when the volume justifies it.
How long does a solar Odoo implementation take?
A focused core covering CRM, projects, stock and accounting typically runs six to twelve weeks, with monitoring integrations added later per endpoint. Standardizing your material kits early is what keeps the timeline honest. You get a phased timeline after scoping, not before.
