What we build
A lending engine built into Odoo
Standard Odoo has no module for lenders; the loan tools in recent Accounting versions track money a company borrows, not money it lends. We build the lending layer as a custom module and connect it to CRM, Documents, Sign and Accounting, which already do the rest.
Featured module
Schedules that match the contract
Each loan product defines its interest method, term, fees and penalty rules. On disbursement the module generates the repayment schedule, splits every installment into principal and interest, and posts each due amount to the right accounts.
- Flat-rate or effective-rate interest
- Grace periods, balloon payments and early payoff
- Reschedules that keep the original history
- A printable schedule for the borrower
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Applications
Applications arrive from a web form, a branch or a dealer and move through CRM stages from received to approved, with the applicant's documents attached.
Credit review and approval
Checklists, scoring fields and approval limits by amount, with every decision and override logged against the application.
Contracts and e-signature
Loan agreements generate from templates and go out through Odoo Sign; guarantor and collateral details stay on the loan record.
Disbursement
Approved amounts pay out by bank transfer in full or in tranches, net of any fees deducted up front.
Repayments
Payments by PromptPay, transfer or cash at the counter are matched to installments and applied in the order your policy sets, such as fees, penalty, interest, then principal.
Penalties and overdue buckets
Late charges accrue by your rules, and overdue loans group by days past due so collectors work the right list each morning.
Collections follow-up
Reminder levels send email, SMS or letters on set days, and each call, promise to pay and visit is logged on the loan.
Accounting and reports
Disbursements, accrued interest, fees, penalties and write-offs post to Odoo Accounting, with portfolio and aging reports drawn from the same entries.
Why Odoo
Lending rules you own, on a complete ERP
Off-the-shelf loan systems often sit apart from the books, and someone reconciles the two every month. With the lending layer inside Odoo, the schedule, the receipt and the journal entry are the same data, and the rules are code you own rather than a vendor's roadmap.
Code you own
The lending module is delivered to your repository with tests and documentation, so another developer can maintain it.
Thai accounting built in
Thai chart of accounts, specific business tax on interest income where it applies, VAT on fees, withholding tax and e-Tax Invoice.
One view of the borrower
Applications, loans, payments, calls and documents sit on the customer record, so any officer can answer a borrower's question.
Audit trail by default
Changes to rates, schedules and write-offs record who made them and when, which is what auditors ask for first.
Before you commit
Limits and responsibilities to weigh first
A lending system touches regulation, credit risk and customer money. We build what you specify and tell you plainly where our part ends.
01
Licensing is yours
Lending licenses, interest caps and disclosure rules, whether from the Bank of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance for pico-finance, RBI in India or US state regulators, are your responsibility. We configure the rules you give us.
02
The lending core is custom
No standard Odoo app manages loans you give. That means a written specification, tests and a fixed price per module, and it also means that code needs care at every upgrade.
03
Credit scoring is your policy
We build the fields, checklists and approval limits. The credit model and its thresholds come from your credit team, not from us.
04
Bureau access depends on membership
Checks with the National Credit Bureau in Thailand or CIBIL in India require your own membership. We can store results and attach reports; the bureau relationship is yours.
05
Impairment needs your accountant's model
Expected credit loss under TFRS 9, or your local standard, is a model your accountant owns. Odoo posts the provisions; it does not decide them.
06
Migrating live loans takes care
Open loans move with their remaining schedules and balances, verified against your old system loan by loan before cutover. Plan time for it.
How we help
Bring one loan contract and its payment history to a scoping call. We will show you how it would run in Odoo and what would need custom work.
Reliability & security
Engineered for reliability & security
Role-based access
Odoo security groups and record rules so each person sees only what their job needs.
Tested backups
Daily backups with restores rehearsed on a schedule. An untested backup is not a backup.
Full audit trail
Chatter history, approvals and document logs show who changed what, and when.
Hardened hosting
TLS everywhere, patched servers, firewalls and monitoring whether you run Odoo.sh or your own server.
PDPA-aware data handling
Personal data kept where it belongs, with retention and access set up around Thailand's PDPA.
Upgrade-safe custom code
Custom work lives in separate, tested modules so the next Odoo version is an upgrade, not a rebuild.
Rollout
A smooth rollout, fully supported
Walk the process
Workshops with the people who do the work, before any configuration.
Configure the baseline
Standard Odoo set up for your sector first; custom code only where it stops.
Pilot with one team
One site, one team, one month, on live data, with a rollback point.
Scale and hand over
Roll out to the rest, train by role, and stay through the first month-end close.
Dedicated consultant
The same person from the first call to go-live.
Documentation you keep
Process guides and handover notes in your own repository.
Training in EN or TH
Role-based sessions for new staff, whenever you need them.
Integrations
Payments in, reminders out
Bank files, payment QR codes and messaging channels connect through integrations we build and price per endpoint, with retries and logs so a failed sync is visible, not silent.

Reminders on channels borrowers use
Due-date and overdue reminders go by SMS, email or LINE, each one logged against the loan.
Reports your board reads
Portfolio, aging and collection reports run in Odoo or feed Power BI from the same PostgreSQL data.

FAQ
Questions clients ask first
Does Odoo have a loan management module?
Not for lenders. Recent Accounting versions track loans a company takes, not loans it gives, so we build the lending layer as a custom module on top of CRM, Sign, Documents and Accounting. The source code is delivered to your repository and is yours.
Can it calculate flat-rate and effective-rate interest?
Yes. Each loan product sets its method, and the schedule shows principal and interest for every installment. We test the calculations against your existing contracts before go-live, so the numbers match what borrowers signed.
How are late payments and penalties handled?
Penalties accrue by the rules in your contract, and overdue loans group by days past due. Reminder levels send SMS, email or letters on set days, and every collection call is logged on the loan.
Do you handle lending licenses or compliance?
No. Licensing, interest caps and disclosure rules are the lender's responsibility, whether set by the Bank of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance, RBI or a US state. We configure the rules you and your advisers specify and keep an audit trail of every change.
How much does loan management software on Odoo cost?
It depends on your loan products, integrations and the loans you need to migrate. We quote a fixed price per module after a written specification, and Odoo licensing is billed by Odoo directly. Delivery and training are available in Thai or English.
