Front desk to pharmacy, on one set of records
Odoo Appointments, Inventory, Invoicing and Employees cover most of a clinic's business workflow. We configure procedure kits, insurer billing and doctor fees on top, and write custom modules only where standard Odoo stops.

Every medicine and consumable carries a lot number and expiry date from the goods receipt onward. First-expiry-first-out picking sends the oldest lot out first, and reordering rules raise purchase requests before a shelf runs empty.

Appointments
Patients book online or by phone into a doctor's or room's free slots, with email or SMS reminders before the visit.
Patient registration
Each patient is a contact with an ID, insurer and corporate account, so repeat visits reuse the same billing details.
Patient billing
Consultations, procedures, medicines and packages land on one bill. Tax settings per item follow your accountant's treatment of exempt services and VAT-able retail items.
Insurer and corporate billing
Split a bill between the patient and an insurer or employer, then follow up the insurer's balance separately until it is paid.
Procedure kits
A standard kit lists the consumables a procedure uses. Issuing it deducts stock from the department store and adds billable items to the patient's bill.
Purchasing and suppliers
Reordering rules, vendor price lists and purchase approvals keep medicines and supplies in stock without over-ordering short-dated lots.
Rosters and attendance
Odoo Planning builds shift rosters by department and skill; Attendances and Time Off record who actually worked.
Doctor fees
A small custom module accrues doctor fee shares per visit or procedure, so month-end payouts to visiting doctors come from bills already issued.

The business side of care, run from one database
In many clinics the booking tool, the pharmacy spreadsheet and the accounting package disagree by month-end. On Odoo, the kit issued in the treatment room is the stock that leaves the shelf and the line the patient pays for.
One clinic or many branches
Each branch has its own stores, price lists and books, with transfers between them and a consolidated view for owners.
Thai tax and payments
Receipts and tax invoices in Thai, withholding tax on corporate accounts, PromptPay QR on bills and bank reconciliation.

Where Odoo stops in a hospital
Hospitals carry clinical and regulatory weight that an ERP does not. These are the limits we state before any scope is signed.

Not a medical records system
Odoo is not an electronic medical record and holds no medical-records certification. Diagnoses, clinical notes and results belong in your HIS or EMR, which we can link to where it offers an API.

Health data is sensitive data
Under Thailand's PDPA, health data is sensitive personal data with stricter rules on collection and access. We keep clinical detail out of Odoo where possible; your privacy notice and consent process remain your responsibility.

No government scheme claims
Claims under NHSO, social security or civil servant schemes go through those agencies' own systems. Odoo can export the billing data they need; direct submission is a separate integration project.

Controlled-drug registers are custom
Registers and reports for controlled and dangerous drugs must follow Thai FDA formats. Odoo holds the stock movements; the report in the exact format is custom work.

Appointments and Planning need Enterprise
Online booking and shift rosters are Enterprise apps. A small clinic on Community can start with stock and billing and add them later.

Payroll is scoped separately
We confirm what Odoo Payroll covers for your country before quoting. Where it falls short, rosters and attendance feed your existing payroll service instead.

Questions clients ask first
Can Odoo be used as hospital management software?
For the business side, yes: appointments, billing, pharmacy and consumable stock, purchasing and staff rosters. Odoo is not an electronic medical record, so clinical notes and results stay in your HIS or EMR, linked to Odoo where it offers an API.
How does Odoo track medicine lots and expiry dates?
Lot numbers and expiry dates are recorded at goods receipt and follow the stock through every transfer. FEFO removal picks the earliest-expiring lot first, and expiry alerts flag stock before it has to be written off.
Can a bill be split between the patient and an insurer?
Yes. The covered amount is invoiced to the insurer or employer and the remainder to the patient, each followed up on its own. Government scheme claims such as NHSO or social security still go through those agencies' own systems.
Is patient data safe in Odoo?
Access is role-based, so each team sees only what its work needs, and hosting can be Odoo.sh, a regional cloud or your own server. We keep clinical detail out of Odoo where possible, because health data is sensitive personal data under Thailand's PDPA.
What does a clinic system on Odoo cost?
